I was born in Newport, OR. Under the Newport bridge is a jetty where I once went canoe fishing with a friend (Wes) and my father-in-law (Yaya). Both of those men have since passed. I also drive by the old home of a childhood sweetheart (which I can see through the trees on the ocean side of 101) on the way to that bay.

The guitar track was written by Roby Duke and later recorded for me. He has also since passed.
