This album was developed for Firstcom Music over a several-month period. Because of challenging tour schedules, in only a couple of cases were any of us physically together to record. The bulk of our collaborating was done via the internet. Darol and Rushad sent me parts and I would compose around them. Or I would send parts and they would compose. In several cases, the final piece bore minimal resemblance to the original idea. We gradually became more comfortable creating this way and are happy with the results. We hope you agree!
